  3. Teachers Computer Science Program
A 12-week bootcamp for teachers

Why

Digital literacy can reach more learners when teachers have the skills and confidence to integrate technology into education. Training educators creates opportunities to extend digital learning into schools and communities where access to specialist technology education is limited.

What

The Teachers Computer Science Program (TCSP) is a 12-week computer science bootcamp for primary and high school teachers. It equips educators with foundational digital skills for everyday, professional and classroom use, enabling them to develop their technological knowledge and apply it in their work.

How

NairoBits provides practical digital training that helps teachers use computers for tasks such as preparing professional documents and presentations, developing budget plans and establishing an online e-commerce presence. By equipping educators with these skills, the program aims to extend digital literacy beyond individual participants and into their classrooms and wider communities.
