An eight-week bootcamp

Why

Introducing digital skills early gives children opportunities to explore technology, develop confidence and build competencies that support learning in an increasingly digital world. Early exposure can also encourage curiosity, creativity and problem-solving among learners in underserved school communities.

What

The iKids Computer Science Program (iCSP) is an eight-week bootcamp delivered in partnership with Kakenya’s Dream. It supports learners across primary, junior and senior school levels in developing foundational and intermediate digital competencies aligned with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and global digital literacy standards.

Kilgoris

How

The program combines onboarding and baseline assessments with structured digital skills training and technology-supported classroom learning. Learners develop computer literacy, digital creativity, responsible technology use and problem-solving skills while building confidence and interest in technology-driven learning pathways.
